Hardware configuration for server, network and storage architecture is not affected in this guide. Software configurations for server operating systems occur preferably before the installation of ESSArch begins. The installation is expected to be done as user 'root'.

Install this epel repository before you try to install erlang package

Install this epel repository before you try to install erlang package

** SLES 11 SP4 require extra package: epel-release

Install erlang-epmd without dependencies since it requires erlang and vice
versa erlang requires erlang-epmd

Redis (new in 1.1.0)

Install
# yum install redis

Start service
# systemctl start redis.service

Start service at system boot
# systemctl enable redis.service

SLES 12 SP3

Install (install redis after you installed ESSArch_Core)
# cd /ESSArch/install/packages
# zypper install redis-sles12_sp3.rpm

Create default configurations
# cp /etc/redis/default.conf.example /etc/redis/default.conf
# chown redis /etc/redis/default.conf

Enable service at system boot
# systemctl enable redis@default.service    

Start service
# systemctl start redis@default.service

Rabbitmq-server

CentOS 7

Install
# yum install rabbitmq-server

Start service
# systemctl start rabbitmq-server

Start service at system boot
# systemctl enable rabbitmq-server

SLES 12 SP3

Install (install rabbitmq-server after you installed ESSArch_Core)
# cd /ESSArch/install/packages
# zypper install rabbitmq-server-sles11.rpm

Enable service at system boot
# systemctl enable rabbitmq-server.service

Start service
# systemctl start rabbitmq-server

Elasticsearch

CentOS 7

Add Elasticsearch repository
